Internal Player - Track List

First of all, thanks for that nice app, IMHO the best of all RSS/Podcast reader.

I do have a couple of question:

1. Using the internal player, is is possible to disable (not show) the track list ?
So when using special WM skin, the skin will cover the whole screen instead of being forced down showing only a part of it.
Funny it is, I used to have a skin that covered the all player (WMP_WPC_... skin), but somehow, something went wrong and I back with the original skins offering too small buttons for my big fingers ;)

Reading some threads in here, I found out that we could easily had skins by placing them into the /skin folder, however the couple of skins I tried are forced at the bottom of the screen.

2. Is there a description of the settings (setting and trackstate) files ?
Keywords and possible values.

Thanks again.
David.

HTC TyTN II with HTC WM Skin

Ok, so back to normal (almost)...

After trying many more times... involving EXIT and reSTART BP each time, the Internal player ends up like that:

Landscape mode http://pics.deltaecho.com/bp001/screen01.png

Portrait mode http://pics.deltaecho.com/bp001/screen02.png

The player took the place of the playlist :P and the space for the original player controls is all black ... the opposite of what I got earlier (I wish I took a screenshot earlier).
Note that this is the way this skin used to be before the weirdness described in the first post.

Anybody else having this kind of weirdness ?

The problem with just replacing the skins is that they are a bit temperamental to get right. If you want to create bigger buttons, instead of using a full screen skin, I would suggest creating your own skin that is based on BeyondPod's skin (meaning it is smaller than full screen) but has larger buttons. It is not very difficult - it is an XML file that refers to button images.  I actually used a full screen skin that I "cut" to make the one you see in BP. The new skin does not have to be as thin as the the one in BP.  BP tries to parse the size of the skin and adjust the height of the tracks, so make sure that the skin has it size correctly specified - just use the built in skin as a template.

Here is the skin resulting of this.
I did a quick crop and edit of an original HTC fullscreen skin.
You can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344533

Portrait mode: http://pics.deltaecho.com/bp001/screen03.png

Landscape mode: http://pics.deltaecho.com/bp001/screen04.png

Skin files: http://pics.deltaecho.com/bp001/DHE01.rar
Just extract the files into a folder within the [...]/bp/skins/ folder and BP will find the skin at the next start.
