BeyondSchedule - adding power off

Dec 29, 2008 at 10:20 PM
The BeyondSchedule app is such a great program - it would be great if it could schedule the shutdown (power-off) of the phone.  I can't find any other app that does this.  CT Scheduler had this functionality but not for the touchscreen phones ("pocketpc" version of WM6).

While BeyondScheduler does not have a "turn phone off" task, it can start any external application. If you can find an application that turns the phone off you should be able to schedule it using the scheduler.

No luck so far - I've tried that...

hi

i love beyond pod and scheduler and they work well for me.

i am keen to use beyond scheduler more but do not understand the "arguments" section when setting it to launch programs.
what can i use this bit for? what format does anything need to take in this box?

thanks in advance

Don,

The argument section is used if the program you are starting accepts any arguments (not that many do).
